Marvel’s Wolverine got a brand new trailer at San Diego Comic Con, showcasing the plot of the game, as well as some of the locations players can expect to visit in Insomniac’s upcoming adventure. It sheds more light on Logan and Jean’s relationship, where they seem really close, almost making us believe our marriage theory.
The trailer also highlights how Logan’s iconic berserk mode will affect him, making him lose control and sense of anyone around him. We almost see Wolverine attack Jean in this mode, before she calms him down.
What’s most interesting about the trailer, however, is that we have gotten our first look at Mr. Sinister, played by non-other than Troy Baker himself, and the reveal of the Hand as an enemy faction, which are also included in the brand new key art seen above.
Marvel’s Wolverine appears to be playing fast and loose with Logan’s traditional friends and foes, as he is seen cooperating with both Mister Sinister and Sabretooth, although his alliance with the latter seems particularly shaky. It remains to be seen whether they will ultimately embrace their villainous roles by the game’s end.
