Third Eye Open Is Inspired By Creepy Malaysian Folklore

Paper Ghost Stories: Third Eye Open is a narrative-driven adventure told in a unique paper theatre aesthetic. Set in the early 2000’s Malaysia, the game follows a young girl as she gradually discovers her supernatural abilities whilst being guided, and misguided by spirits.

The game is heavily inspired by creepy stories from Malaysian and Chinese myths, with iconic elements that help guide her story along. The game is part of a series, with their previous game, 7PM kickstarting the Paper Ghost Stories collection.

Third Eye Open will be available on PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC early next year.
