Following the success of its Steam Next Fest demo, The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu gets a brand new trailer before launch, offering a final look at the psychological horrors awaiting explorers in ACE Team’s co-op Lovecraftian adventure.
In The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, players take on the roles of explorers searching for legendary treasures deep within a hostile jungle, with limited ammunition and breakable gear the only things aiding them in their journey. As such, players must manage their resources and choose their path carefully.
Not to mention, as players get deeper into the jungle, they will face various monstrosities that mess with their minds. As their perception of reality slowly gets corrupted, they will start experiencing hallucinations which can end in accidental sabotage that endangers the entire team. Even the dead aren’t off-limits, since fallen companions can return in a corrupted form and turn against you.
The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu can be played solo or with up to 4 players in co-op mode. It will be available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on the 15th of July, 2026, with full crossplay available on launch.
