Publisher Soedesco and Developer Clay Game Studio have released a brand new story trailer for Mirth Island, a cozy rhythm-adventure that features interesting characters and wholesome gameplay.
The game follows Dodo who returns to Mirth Island after his unsuccessful attempt at becoming an actor. There, he meets his old friends who join him in restoring the island’s abandoned theatre which has fallen apart over the years.
Mirth Island combines rhythm-based gameplay with a cosy adventure where player will come across unusual residents who they can recruit for the theatre by completing wholesome quests.
The developers have mentioned that the rhythm challenges have been designed for both casual and experienced players, hopefully making the game more approachable for a wide range of players.
Mirth Island will release later this year on Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. It can now be wishlisted on steam, with an exact release date to follow.
