Hell Let Loose: Vietnam’s intense new launch trailer shows off its chaotic 50v50 battles that take place through dense jungles, rivers and other dangerous terrain.
Like the previous game, it is made abundantly clear that teamwork will be essential, with victory relying on squads working together to secure outcomes rather than individual exploits.
On launch, players will be able to battle across six large-scale maps, each featuring different terrain and weather conditions and have access to historically accurate weapons and vehicles, alongside new tactical options such as US aerial units, NVA forces and heavily armed patrol boats that can travel through Vietnam’s tricky rivers.
We were very lukewarm on the first Hell Let Loose, where we spent more time waiting and running towards the action from faraway spawn points than actually fighting. Hopefully, the developers have managed to solve that issue with their Vietnam’s large-scale maps.
Hell Let Loose: Vietnam will launch on 13 August for PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A new Inside the Armoury video series is also available, with Royal Armouries expert Jonathan Ferguson examining some of the weapons featured in the game.
