Ghost Keeper Gets Exorcised From Early Access This July

The strategy management game with a ghostly twist, Ghost Keeper will soon be leaving Steam's Early Access programme later this month, bringing its haunting cast to the light (full release).

Developer Quest Craft have just announced that the strategy management game with a ghostly twist, Ghost Keeper will be leaving Steam’s Early Access programme later this month, soon bringing its haunting cast to light.

In Ghost Keeper, you control ghastly and monstrous minions to frighten and remove humans from haunted locations. It features distinct Victorian locations for players to terrify with different ghosts that each have a unique set of abilities. However, humans aren’t always defenceless, and failing to plan your scares strategically might get the Brotherhood of Light involved, who will put a swift end to your misery.

It feels like a spiritual sequel to Ghost Master from 2003, which also saw players control a variety of ghosts that could haunt a location in order to scare its human inhabitants away. I remember having a lot of fun with that game, so I will be curious to see if this maintains some of that classic slapstick charm.

Ghost Keeper is currently available on Steam through Early Access ahead of its full release happening on 16 July, 2026.
