Those fortunate enough to have an RTX 3090 may want to hold off on playing Amazon’s New World as multiple users have been reporting issues with their cards after playing the game.
Disgruntled gamers have been sharing their issues over on Reddit, with problems ranging from high temperatures to blacked-out screens, making their expensive cards unusable. From what we can gather, it seems to mostly be an issue for EVGA cards, as a few users have mentioned that non EVGA cards have been fine, so it could be an issue from both ends.
So, just a PSA if you own an EVGA RTX 3090 and might be looking to play New World! It might be better to wait until these issues have been looked into more and fixed.
