Dark Zone Studios have announced that their cinematic puzzle platformer 4:AM be launching on PC this December.
4:AM is an inventive cinematic platformer that lets players solve puzzles in creative ways using a system called N.O.D.E., allowing players to to copy objects from the environment and place them elsewhere. As seen in the launch trailer, this opens up multiple approaches ranging from stealth to creative improvisation.
It reminds us of Playdead’s games like Inside and Limbo which are always a good benchmark to aspire to. What particularly caught our eye in the trailer was how elements also come into play, with a scene showing the player setting something on fire to burn an obstacle in their path.
4:AM will be available on PC via Steam on December 10, 2026. Those interested can try out the game’s demo, which is also available on the storefront.
