Here’s something we did not see coming, The upcoming Hellraiser: Revival by Saber Interactive has gotten a demo on steam that anyone can try out.
The demo introduces players to the story of Aidan, who must use the power of a mysterious puzzle box, the Genesis Configuration, to help his girlfriend Sunny’s escape from the otherworldly hellscape of the Labyrinth.
The demo features the prologue which introduces you to a terrifying, ever-shifting realm of nightmares, followed by a portion of Episode 1 where you must escape the devious Scarlet Church, who have taken the Genesis Configuration into their possession.
I think it speaks volumes to the confidence of the developers when a major game gets a demo before release, giving players a chance to see if they will end up enjoying a game they might be on the fence about.
