Frontier Development has announced their partnership with BIAZA, the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums for Planet Zoo 2.
By partnering with them, Frontier hopes to get insight from BIAZA’s real-world expertise, improving on their goal to represent animal welfare, sustainable habitat design, conservation, and more in Planet Zoo 2.
In our honest opinion, this is definitely good news as BIAZA is a leading organisation representing zoos and aquariums across the UK and Ireland. They operate an accreditation programme for zoos and aquariums, ensuring that they maintain high standards when it comes to animal care.

Currently, one of their accredited locations, Chester Zoo, is researching a deadly elephant disease with the hope of discovering a vaccine. More recently, Marwell Wildlife, another of their accredited zoos, helped reintroduce Przewalski’s horses into Kazakhstan. The entire species was once extinct in the wild and saved from extinction by zoos. The two horses, Shara and Togs, were born at Hampshire’s Marwell Wildlife.
Planet Zoo 2 will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on 13 October 2026. In the meantime, be sure to visit their website for more information.
