LEGO Skylines was a surprising reveal at Gamescom, not because it looks odd or anything, but because it makes a lot of sense, and I can’t believe this doesn’t already exist.
In LEGO Skylines players will get to build the LEGO city of their dreams, using their imagination to bring a living, breathing metropolis to life. According to the publisher Paradox, it is an addicting city-builder that turns five minutes into hours.
It is being developed by Iceflake Studios, who had worked on Cities Skylines II. The game looks really charming, and I hope it will capture the magical whimsy of experimenting and building with different LEGO sets.
LEGO Skylines is currently in development for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
