The reimagined classic, Broken Sword – The Smoking Mirror: Reforged will be getting a physical standard and deluxe edition, courtesy of Meridiem Games and Red Art Games.
The standard edition comes with the game’s manual with the cover art language matching the region it’s brought from. The extremely limited deluxe edition on the other hand, will feature a lot of extras.
The deluxe edition for Broken Sword 2 will contain a copy of the game, as well as an exclusive sleeve that features cover art from the original version of the game with an instruction manual, a soundtrack CD and a keychain that features the pixel art version of Nico.
Broken Sword: The Smoking Mirror: Reforged is a facelift of the original game that remasters the visuals in beautiful 4K with enhanced audio, and bonus content with never-heard-before dialogue restored from original scripts and secrets to unlock on game completion.
The great thing about this remaster is that those who want to relive the classic version of the game can do so at the press of a button, switching between the original 1997 and the new reforged version at the click of a button.
The physical versions for Broken Sword – The Smoking Mirror: Reforged will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch on February 19, 2026. The extremely limited deluxe edition can be ordered through Red Art Games, and the standard edition through Meridiem.
