Techland has announced that Dying Light: The Beast will no longer be releasing for last gen hardware, including PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The developers explained how technical constraints led to this decision, which would have compromised the game’s vision and features. Thus, they decided to leave those platforms behind, as the last gen consoles just didn’t have enough processing power.

Refunds have also been promised, which will allow those who have already pre-ordered the game to get their money back. Dying Light: The Beast released for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC on the 18th of September last year, and was initially meant to release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well, but that has now been cancelled.
