Meridiem has released a brand new physical edition, this time for the 2D Hack and Slash, Dragon is Dead, giving fans a chance to collect this game physically on the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
A special Guernian edition is available in Europe and UK which features a special sleeve, some character cards and the lore of Guernian which provides more insight into the game’s dark fantasy setting and characters.
In Dragon is Dead, players take on the role of a Successor, an immortal warrior that fights through a corruption led on by the death of the dragon Guernian. Starting as the Successor Spellblade, players will unlock additional Successors as they progress through the game, with each having its own skill tree, weapons and playstyle.
The challenging 2D Roguelite Hack-and-Slash combat takes place across multi-layered 2D stages that reshuffle enemy layouts, hazards and loot each run. By hunting Elites and Bosses, players will be able to claim Rune Stones, that can then be crafted into Legendary equipment.
Those in the UK, can purchase Dragon is Dead: Guernian Edition for £28.95 on Amazon, The Game Collection or Shopto. It is also available digitally on PC, via Steam. Meridiem had previously launched Super Meat Boy 3D in physical formats.
