Company of Heroes 3: Final Stand has just been announced and it is a unique roguelite twist on its strategy formula, where players command one of four factions in a wave defense experience. Players will be able to unlock different upgrades that allow for new strategic possibilities with each run.

According to Relic Entertainment, Final Stand is a fully standalone release, and players do not need to own Company of Heroes 3 in order to play the game. It features support for both solo and co-op gameplay, allowing players to jump right in regardless of their experience with the franchise.

Final Stand will include four iconic factions, US Forces, Wehrmacht, British Forces, and Deutsches Afrikakorps, each offering unique strategies, abilities, and progression paths tailored to different playstyles. Players will have to hold their ground as they build defenses and survive against escalating waves of enemy forces across 12 increasingly challenging rounds, featuring intimidating bosses and dynamic battlefield events unique to Final Stand.

Company of Heroes 3: Final Stand will launch for PC on the 29th of July, priced at $29.99 USD / £23.99 GBP / €28.99. The release window also marks the 20th anniversary period of Company of Heroes, as Relic celebrates two decades of their genre-defining and iconic real-time strategy series. Aside from Final Stand, players can also look forward to Company of Heroes: Definitive Edition, as well as continued support, updates and new content across the franchise.
