Whilst some of the previous Sherlock Holmes games by Frogwares might have featured some form of action sequences, they were generally more about exploration and investigation. Chapter One seems to shake up the formula a bit with the addition of traditional combat.
A brand new trailer has been released that shows off the combat in action, and the elements present which will allow you to outsmart your enemies even during fights. Traditional adventure fans will be pleased to know that the combat sequences can be skipped.
Whilst combat can be fun for a lot of people, it is a hard thing to do well in games, something that Chapter One can easily run foul of. So here’s hoping that the system will be fun and polished enough to not warrant skipping.
Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One will be available on the PC, Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on the 16th of November, with Playstation 4 and Xbox One versions coming later down the line.
