House of Ashes has gotten a brand new Gamescom trailer, showcasing more of the game’s tough decisions and its war-framing. The upcoming chapter in The Dark Pictures Anthology takes place in 2003, and follows CIA field operative Rachel King as she joins an elite military unit on a raid of a suspected underground chemical weapons facility.
From the look of the trailer, Supermassive seems to be walking a thin line in regards to representation. Here’s hoping that they don’t paint the Iraqi forces as stereotypical bad-guy terrorists with the American saviours coming to defeat or save them.
Dark Pictures: House of Ashes will be available on the 22nd of October this year for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
