We finally got our first look at the upcoming expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, called Phantom Liberty where we will be joining the military of New United States of America. More importantly, however, Keanu Reeves announced that he will be making a return.
Not a huge amount is known about the upcoming expansion, but brand new characters and locations were promised for Night City, and the trailer showcased some exciting abilities and encounters.
Aside from that, more details were given about the game’s 1.6 patch, which will feature items from the upcoming Edgerunners anime, such as a jacket and shotgun from the protagonist of the show. This will apparently be the last update for last-gen consoles (PS4 and Xbox One) with the expansion only available for the next-gen devices.
Phantom Liberty is scheduled to release in 2023 for PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Stadia.
