The 4X RTS treatment of Dune is now available through Early Access on PC via Steam, bringing the iconic universe back to the land of video games. It features popular factions as seen in the books and films.
Dune: Spice Wars is a 4X strategy game set on the unforgiving planet of Arrakis, where players will battle for possession of each drop of water and load of spice. Players will have to carefully consider both tactics and diplomacy, with different factions fighting for control.
Dune: Spice Wars will enter early access on the 26th of April on Steam. Asides from Spice Wars, Funcom is also working on an open-world survival multiplayer game set in the Dune universe.
