No Man’s Sky is not going to keep getting better anytime soon, as yet another update has now been announced called Outlaws. Every time I think a new update is going to be small, it basically turns out to be an expansion.
The Outlaws update does exactly what it says on the tin, and introduces a more scrupulous method of playing the game with improved ship combat, brand new base and mission types as well as companions who will come to your aid during dogfights.
There really is a lot to unpack here, from getting a new shield system for ships to freighter improvements which now mean you will see these ships on planets passing overhead. A lot has been introduced via this update, that you can read more about here.
No Man’s Sky is currently available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Playstation 4, and Playstation 5, with a release on Nintendo Switch coming later this year. The Outlaw update is live on all available platforms.
