Here is an interesting surprise that no one was expecting, Remedy Entertainment, the original creators of Max Payne will be returning to the franchise in collaboration with Rockstar Games.
Announced on their investor page, Remedy will be taking charge of Max Payne 1 and Max Payne 2 Remake which will be built on their Northlight engine. From their statement, it appears as if the 2 games will be combined into one big experience, but that is left to see.
Not much is known about the release date, but let’s hope they do take some inspiration from the spectacular shooting mechanics of Max Payne 3. It will be coming to the Playstation 5, Xbox Series X and PC.
