The 4X RTS treatment of Dune will be released through Early Access on PC via Steam later this month, bringing the iconic universe back to the land of video games.
Funcom has also confirmed that the desert-dwelling Fremen will be available as a playable faction in the game bringing players incredible flexibility and variety as they traverse the unforgiving terrains of Arrakis.
Dune: Spice Wars will enter early access on the 26th of April on Steam. Asides from Spice Wars, Funcom is also working on an open-world survival multiplayer game set in the Dune universe.
