The long-awaited Spider-Man DLC is now available for Avengers, bringing everyone’s favourite web-slinger to the Playstation consoles. Sadly, it isn’t as big of a release as the other heroes as it does not have its own story-based missions.
Instead, players will experience Spider-Man’s story through unlockable challenges woven throughout the Avengers Initiative. Peter Parker learns of a deadly new threat and must partner with the Avengers to stop AIM from acquiring technology that could make their synthoid army unstoppable.
It’s a shame that such a universal character is locked behind Playstation, and doesn’t have much variety in terms of gameplay. Which is something I suppose makes sense as it’s a limited release.
