Here is the first look at the gameplay from Vice City definitive edition, courtesy
of okayjosh on youtube. It shows off some freeroam gameplay and how the checkpoint mechanic works. The weapon wheel is also shown off.
Honestly, despite Rockstar’s claim about improved gameplay, it still looks to play roughly the same as the original. Whilst I did not have many expectations from this release, it would have been cool to at least see improved gunplay and perhaps some simple ragdoll on enemies.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and the Rockstar Games Launcher on PC November 11. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will get San Andreas remaster day one on consoles.
