Developer Hexagon Games and Publisher Assemble Entertainment are happy to reveal that survival city-builder Sphere – Flying Cities has just been released via Steam’s early access program.

Take to the skies as you attempt to rebuild some semblance of society in this gripping post-apocalyptic sci-fi survival game where your most valuable asset is a visionary, futuristic multi-purpose anti-gravity device.

As the Commander, you have been put in charge of society in this relentless and unique strategy-sim that combines the best elements of the city-building and survival genre. Re-establish and protect civilization as you utilize the anti-gravity device to sail the skies into the perilous unknown. However, be cautious as each choice can have devastating consequences, so be prepared to lay it all on the line in order to succeed.

Features:

  • A City in the Clouds: Construct your city as you send out drones to harvest resources and repair buildings to keep everyone’s head in the clouds.
  • The Sky’s the Limit: As the only thing between life and certain doom, The anti-gravity device and its deflector shield will need to be maintained to protect the city from unnatural disasters.
  • For the Greater Good: Keep your citizens safe and healthy as you tend to their needs by supplying food, healthcare, and shelter, as well as undergoing rescue missions. However, keep in mind that you won’t be able to save every building – nor every colonist.
  • Write Your Own Story: Each decision you make, turn you take, and building you create chronicles your narrative in this compelling near-apocalypse scenario.
