This year has been great for historical strategy fans, with Humankind having released earlier, and Age of Empires IV releasing later this month. Now, Old World’s Steam and GOG release window has also been confirmed via a brand new trailer.
Old World is a historical 4X turn-based strategy game where you lead your empire through multiple generations, building a grand legacy that lasts well beyond your own years. Its deep mix of management, diplomacy and warfare alongside unique revolutionary improvements to the classic 4X strategy formula has garnered it critical acclaim.
It initially launched on the Epic Games Store earlier this year as part of a timed exclusivity deal with Epic Games but now will be releasing on Steam and GOG in Spring, next year. A campaign expansion will also be releasing on the same date.
