Whilst EVERSPACE 2 is still in early access, the developer Rockfish Games have been diligently releasing updates for the title. These usually add various content to the game, with the latest one adding brand new missions and companions!
Its first major update brings all-new story and side-quest missions to the Union star system. Along with a new companion and boss encounter, Bomber ship class, an enemy sub-faction with special gear, and more, the update introduces smuggling to Early Access players.
The biggest part of this update are the three main and three side missions as well as several additional side activities, most taking place in the second star system, Union. As part of these missions, players will be introduced to new smuggling gameplay by Elek, the rogue Outlaw from EVERSPACE: Encounters, who joins the party as a new companion after being rescued.
EVERSPACE 2 can be purchased on Steam here and on GOG here. The full version for PC, including Mac and native Linux support, will be released at a reasonably increased price in summer 2022 and come with UI and text language support for German, French, Italian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Russian, simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
