Although Amnesia is lauded for its unique take on psychological horror, at its core, it has a puzzle based progression mixed with exploration, something that wouldn’t be amiss in an adventure title.
The new Adventure Mode, which is now available for Amnesia: Rebirth allows adventure gamers to play the recent installment without the threat of monsters, instead focusing on puzzles and exploration.
This is a great addition in my opinion, as a lot of adventure gamers are not a fan of threat-based or combat-heavy gameplay. Giving options to skip these can make the experience more inviting for a bigger audience.
