SQUARE ENIX revealed Life is Strange: True Colors, the next Instalment in the narrative adventure series. It was also revealed that True Colors will not be releasing episodically like the previous installments.
Follow Alex Chen on a story of empathy and human connection as she relocates to Haven Springs to reconnect with her brother Gabe while suppressing her power to read, manipulate and experience the emotions of others, which she perceives as vibrant colored auras. After her brother dies under suspicious circumstances, she must embrace her unpredictable powers to find the truth and expose the dark secrets the town has buried deep.
While exploring Haven Springs, players will be accompanied by an exclusive soundtrack, with new tracks by Mxmtoon(also the singing voice for Alex) and Novo Amor, with licensed songs including Radiohead, Phoebe Bridgers, Gabrielle Aplin, and more.
Also revealed was the Life is Strange Remastered Collection. This collection will contain remastered editions of Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm, featuring improved lighting, textures, and animations. However, this will only be included with the Ultimate Edition of Life is Strange: True Colors with an individual release planned by the end of the year.
Life is Strange: True Colors will be available physically and digitally in three different editions. Fans who pre-order Life is Strange: True Colors will receive 4 additional in-game outfits for Alex; those who purchase the Deluxe edition will also get the Steph DLC Chapter, whilst the Ultimate Edition will have all of the above content, as well as the Life is Strange Remastered Collection.
Life is Strange: True Colors is due for release both physically and digitally on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Google Stadia on September 10, 2021.
