Conan Chop Chop is a unique spin on the franchise, putting the vengeful barbaric in a cutesy hack ‘n’ slash rogue-lite with co-op. Surprisingly, it does look like it’s a formula that works.

Able to be played with up to 4 players, Conan Chop Chop supports both couch and online co-op. Whilst it was initially meant to have released already, the developers have been hard at work adding more random events, new traps, and vicious minibosses roaming the world of Conan. Ultimately, this delay will bring a bigger, better world!

“If we had launched this year, there’d be half the number of cute pigs in the game. And you can’t launch a Conan game without that” concludes Funcom’s Chief Creative Officer Joel Bylos. “And besides, the only crunch we want in our Conan game is the crunch of bones beneath our sandalled feet.”

The game will release on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch Early 2021. It is being developed by Mighty Kingdom and published by Funcom.
