The Basketball series from 2K is easily the most recognised and popular Basketball series around. Whilst we are not huge supporters of their gambling like monetisation schemes, we can give credit where it’s due.
2K Foundations has come to the UK and will be supporting the City of Birmingham Rockets Basketball Club to rejuvenate its current facilities in 2021. The basketball club’s training space at Nechells Wellbeing Centre in Birmingham will undergo a full refurb, with two improved training courts, a show court enabling the club to host home games with a full audience, improved lighting facilities, new nets and scoreboards.
It also aims to host more community programmes with weekly games that encourage people to entertain their love for the sport. We think this is a great step, one that can really reignite the basketball culture and keep it going in the UK. We will happily cover 2K Foundation updates from now on.
