El Hijo – A Wild West Tale is a charming looking game that follows a young kid as he takes on dastardly outlaws in order to find his mother and rescue their captives, dressed in a poncho and armed only with a slingshot.
The game is stealth-driven and non-violent, where players must guide the protagonist through sprawling environments, using his slingshot and surrounding environment to slip past his enemies. It looks to have lush art design with a really expresive animation style.
The release date was just revealed for it, and it will be coming to the PC and Stadia on the 3rd of December later this year. It will be available on both Steam and GOG, with a console release to follow later. It has been developed by Berlin based Honig Studios who specialise in a wide variety of entertainment work.
