Originally revealed under the title Mansions of Madness: Mother’s Embrace, Arkham Horror is an adaptation of the beloved Mansions of Madness board game that is inspired by the work of Lovecraft.
After a professor of astronomy is found dead in her mansion, players must pick from 12 of the most iconic protagonists from the Arkham Horror universe, each with a unique skill set, and assemble a team of investigators to uncover the secrets behind this mysterious death.
However, the investigation will be anything but straightforward as our heroes and heroines will come face to face with lovecraftian horrors, affecting their level of sanity and causing traumas that can impact the course of their investigation.
It will be coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch in 2021, and will also feature a unique turned-based combat system which gives players a chance to escape the cosmic clutches of the unseen.
