Warcave has just announced that their 17th century, turn-based RPG has just gotten a demo for Steam’s Autumn Game Festival, allowing players to try out the strategy game for themselves.
Black Legend takes place in an alternate history 17th century, where a sinister cult lurks amongst the cursed city of Grant. Shrouded in fog, the atmosphere dripping setting gives players a unique playground for exploration and experimentation.
Featuring strategy-focused gameplay, combat in Black Legend requires a tactical focus where unit placement, ability combos, and well-chosen attacks are key to survival. Alchemy adds variety to both ranged and melee attacks with four different ways to injure, poison, and debilitate your foes. Combine these alchemic attacks for devastating effects.
The game is currently in development by belgian based Warcave, and is planned for release on the PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One, Playstation 5, Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch, early 2021. Be sure to download the demo soon, as it goes away with the festival!
