Called the love letter to classic Metroidvanias, Alwa’s Legacy puts a modern spin on the classic genre. The gameplay offers unique abilities and mechanics, all encased in a beautiful art style that is sure to resonate with fans.
Just like the classic games of this ilk, it features lots of puzzles to solve, dungeons to explore, magical items to acquire and ancient secrets to discover. It also features different combat playstyles, suited towards exploration, offence and defence.
Alwa’s Legacy sees our titular protagonist stuck in a strange land whose inhabitants need her help. Something that she will have to do if she ever intends to go back home. The game is now finally available on Switch, something that the developers have yearned to do for years as they believe the platform to be the perfect home for this genre.
