Once upon a dark time, when Pinocchio turned into a monster and Red Riding Hood got a taste for blood, a teddy bear stood in the middle of it all, armed to the plush!
That is the premise of the beautiful looking new platformer The Darkest Tales, a 2.5D Hack and Slash where players will be brought through a lush and twisted world, with each level reminiscent of a popular fairy tale.
Whilst the developers do recommend trying out the more difficult settings when the game is out, there are difficulty options to make the game more accessible to a wide variety of people with varied abilities to help them out.
The game is being developed by Trinity Team Studios with the help of 101xp, who plan to release the game for PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch sometimes in 2021.
